Abstract
This research is dedicated to analyzing the contribution of the Republic of Uzbekistan to ensuring sustainable development and strengthening interstate relations in Central Asia through cultural and humanitarian cooperation, including within the framework of partnership with UNESCO. Special attention is paid to the forms of cultural dialogue between the regions of Central Asia and China in the medieval period, which took place along the Great Silk Road. Based on archaeological, historical-cultural, and artistic sources, manifestations of mutual influences in the spheres of fine arts, architecture, textile and ceramic production, religious and mythological symbolism are examined. Emphasis is placed on the syncretism of cultural traditions manifested in Buddhist art, Sogdian frescoes, silk and ceramics production technology, and jewelry. The work also analyzes UNESCO’s modern international projects aimed at preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of the Silk Road, emphasizing their significance for understanding the historical processes of intercultural exchange and developing scientific cooperation in the field of humanities.
