Abstract

This thesis analyzes the importance, relevance, and development prospects of media literacy in the field of children’s journalism. The study examines the content, form, and style of media products intended for a children's audience, and assesses their influence on the culture of information reception. Additionally, it highlights the role of journalism in developing children's critical thinking skills, information analysis abilities, and conscious use of information. Within the framework of the thesis, local and foreign experiences are compared, and proposals and recommendations for improving media literacy in Uzbekistan are developed.
