Abstract

The article examines the uniqueness of the concept of polemics in ensuring freedom of speech and the press, as well as how it serves as an important indicator of the development of pluralism in society and the development of critical thinking. In this regard, articles published in the newspaper “Ishanch” and the online publication “Oyina.uz” will be analyzed. The “online chat” format, which emerged as a new trend in online publications as a result of the analysis of polemical articles, is a clear example of ensuring freedom of speech and press.
