Abstract

This article analyzes the negative impact of modern information threats such as disinformation, manipulation, and deepfake technologies on public consciousness and national image. It explores the potential of improving media literacy and information culture in Uzbekistan as effective tools to counter such challenges. The author emphasizes the importance of systematic approaches, the development of fact-checking mechanisms, and the adaptation of international practices to national contexts. The article concludes with practical recommendations for strengthening information resilience.
