Music education has always played an important role in a person's creative, aesthetic, and cultural development. The widespread adoption of digital technologies and the internet not only allows students to acquire musical knowledge but also places on them the responsibility of creating, analyzing, and disseminating musical content. This scientific work provides detailed information on the importance of teaching information culture and media literacy in music education, methodological approaches, and the role of the teacher. The main goal of this study is to develop recommendations on how to integrate information culture and media literacy into the process of music education and how to cultivate these skills in students.
